On the Art Table: A Digital Kind of Art

After a few months of keeping a regular studio practice during the fall, I took a break from painting over the holidays. But that doesn't mean creativity was set aside!

Ernestown Station

I just discovered that the abandoned Ontario railway station in this last one, called Ernestown Station, was built in the 1850s and designated by the Canadian government as a Heritage Railway Station back in 1992. That makes me like it even more! You can read more about that here.

Scenes from my Happy Place and Wishes for a Happy New Year

Happy 2014!

I am allowing my entry into the new year to unfold gently: sipping coffee, watching movies, reading and sitting.

The skies are grey today with another storm on the way and I embrace them by plugging in the twinkle lights a bit earlier than usual, cooking spicy food for dinner and taking in beauty of the grey-ness for what it is by visiting my happy, healing place with my trusty point & shoot around my neck.

May 2014 bring you comfort, peace, joy, health, insight, connection and prosperity. I wish you a happy, happy new year.

THANK YOU for being here with me, I am grateful for your company.

I leave you with a few shots from today's walk in my happy place...
